Summary
One night together and she was already painfully addicted... Buffy shuddered, useless against the flood of memories that were pawing at the door of her mind with needy, black-painted nails…
“Poor little lost girl,” he’d sneered as he swung from the chandelier and delivered a kick into the center of her chest. “She doesn’t fit in anywhere.”

Summary
“Buffy?” he mumbled as something soft brushed delicately across his eyelid.
“Don’t open your eyes,” she said quietly, her voice flat with concentration, “or you’ll get poked with the eyeshadow brush.”
He paused, motionless beneath her. “I’ll what now?”
“Just hold still.”

Summary
She was sure this wasn’t the way it was meant to be. People weren’t meant to be pressed out of a panic attack, right? There should be soothing touches and brushed away tears. Hushed words softly whispered.
Of course, those never worked for her—not since her mom had died, anyhow—and even if they did, she’d never ask for them from Spike.
But this was working.
This was definitely working.

Summary
“Unfortunately, finding another infect-ee is paramount,” said Giles, yet to meet her gaze. “Close contact should remove the spores.”
Buffy stared in horror. “You want me to find some stranger with a bad case of the fungals and rub up on them? That’s your plan?” Giles winced. “That’s a terrible plan!” she shouted.
“It’s not ideal,” he agreed.
Hellflower spores but once a year, and the only way to get rid of it is to rub up against someone with the same infection. Lucky for the residents of Sunnydale, it only infects one or two people at a time.
Unlucky for Buffy, that makes her options… rather limited.

Summary
“I’ll behave,” he begged, kissing her quick and hard and momentarily stalling the arguments lacing her tongue. “Honest, I will,” he breathed against her lips. Buffy pulled back slightly to raise an incredulous eyebrow, and he sucked his teeth in a half chuckle, already grinning sinfully wide. “Well, alright, fine, I bloody won’t, but let's not pretend that doesn’t get you hot.”
A spot of gardening, a spot of blood. Buffy’s green fingers are caught red handed.

Summary
Spike cheats at cards. It’s well known.
Clem is sick of it. Time to bring in his new bff. His gal pal. His girl Friday. Alright, so that’s probably exaggerating, but really, who better to teach a master vampire a lesson in poker etiquette than the Slayer herself?
And besides, it doesn’t take an emotions-eater like Clem to realize Buffy’s got her own agenda where Spike is concerned.

Summary
Buffy swallowed—breathing deeply, lip firmly pinched between her teeth to stop the tides of panic washing her out into deep waters of complete hysteria—and considered her options.
Jeans were out. Slacks were out. Shorts—
She pinched her eyes shut to try and block the mental imagery. Shorts were a complete and absolute no go. Not while…
Not while…
Oh God.

Summary
The problem was prolonged exposure.
Far worse than the tobacco in his lungs, the girl was addictive. But unlike the smoke curling into the night sky, Buffy lingered.
He knew her scent. He knew her heartbeat. He knew when she changed the brand of shampoo she bought or whether the t-shirt she was wearing was fresh from the laundry.
But the most persistent scent was a bright red line across his vision every month.

Summary
“You’re wearing a dress,” he stated.
“Wow,” she muttered, resuming her tug of war with the tree branch intersected by spider brain. “It never fails to amaze me how you’re capable of noticing one whole thing at a time. To reiterate; go away.”
“Did you forget we fly, Slayer?” he asked, and out of the corner of her eye she saw him tilt his head towards the tree trunk, crossing his arms as he leaned against it. “...I can see right up your skirt.”

Summary
“I’m not drinking this just to forget a handful of kisses,” he replied after a lengthy pause, and stood the jar on Giles’ desk next to Buffy’s hip. “You wanna mess around with my memories, you can give me something worthy of it.”
Buffy rolled her eyes. She’d been expecting this. “You want me to pay you.”
He chuckled, leaning closer. “No, honey. I want you to persuade me.”
Three days since the Will Be Done spell had been unwilled, and Buffy is desperate to forget. Enough to take one of Willow’s memory-eraser potions. But she won’t do it alone.
Spike just wants to go one week without the Scoobies mucking about with his head, and if he’s gonna let them take a swing at his memories, it’s got to be for something more than a handful of kisses.
A lot more.
