Stelle is good at a lot of things. Like baseball (sort of), puzzles, strategy games, a weird and uncanny amount of luck for gacha games -- and a fantastic trash diver. It's truly impressive how many things she can lay her claim to fame on. She is the galactic baseballer after all.
But she's not good at everything.
And one of those things is determining what this white-hot feeling in her chest is whenever Dan Heng looks at her in that kind way over his shoulder.

March’s mouth forms a small “O” as she looks down at the coat she wears. Her expression flits between apologetic and unbothered, eventually landing on amused somehow. She places the pad down, smiling as she adjusts the fabric to rest back on her shoulder, “Well, you did find it.”
“That, I did.”
She only grins wider at this, mischief flickering in her eyes, “You know it’s mine now, right?”

He can’t even remember the last time he’d been this protective over … well, much of anything. Defensive in the field, sure, it came with the territory of being a Nameless, but raising his hackles over innocent interactions certainly wasn’t something he made a habit of. They were their own people, it wasn’t his place to be acting as if they could only exist in his space. Yet there’s something lurking just beneath his consciousness that calls for the opposite, that barely wants anyone else looking at them.
It’s then and there, while the three of them are sitting down for a late lunch that the pieces click into place.
He is, unreasonably, screwed.

Summary
Being a sword master, a teacher, lends itself to interesting experiences, especially with Miss March 7th as a pupil. Sure, some of her reasons for picking up the sword might be a little different from others, but there's no reason not to support her, especially when it's mostly harmless. They've got two teaching assistants anyway, who seem very interested in March's progress.
Though they might as well be terrible distractions Yunli has to keep shooing away.

Summary
There's a lot of work that goes into becoming even decent with a sword, something that can completely wipe out even the best of trained fighters. It's no surprise when March 7th finds herself exhausted after a long day, headed back to her inn room just hoping to get a quick shower, eat dinner and pass out before getting up again in the morning for more. After all, that's what she's been doing lately, and tonight should be no different.

They've been apart before. Of course, it wasn't like the whole Nameless crew went places together all the time. It should've been routine, while March was honing her swordsmanship they would pursue the questioning posed by the other Xianzhou ships. They said goodbye, earlier this morning, promising to meet for lunch later.
