Summary
Gem is a Mer hybrid, and she loves her life in the Empire. One day Gem finds an enchanted book and decides to try the human's magic. Little did she know this would flip her whole world upside down and she would be force to flee the ocean lands. Along the way she finds a place to settle and makes friends even considers people her family. People she never thought would become her family. Although, through this she is thrown some curve balls. Would she help old friends or will she try and forget her past and move on with her life with the people she is now surrounded by.
Or Gem is a Mer Hybrid and a lot of stuff happens which make her decide to do something no other Mer has done before.
