Summary
Something snapped inside Remus, and he grabbed Sirius arm hard.
“Of course we are not talking anymore. Of course we are done, Sirius. Do I really have to say it?” His tone was low, sharp.
Sirius's voice had died in his throat. By instinct, he tried to free himself from Remus’ grasp but Remus only held him tighter.
“You almost made me a murderer. Do you understand what that means? You almost ruined my life.”

Summary
It was strange; at Hogwarts the atmosphere was so different from what he was used to. Everyone chatted and laughed while eating with abandon. Sirius couldn’t really join the conversations, the sound of forks clinking against plates felt louder. He watched in horror just how much food kept disappearing into his classmates’ mouths.
At meal times, everything was very controlled at Grimmauld Place; they ate in mostly silence and in a proper way, never over-indulging.
Mother would be entirely horrified, he thought.
Or, Sirius has had an eating disorder from an early age.

Summary
Every family had rules. Every family had punishments.
But what kind of punishments?
Sirius couldn't stop wondering. What did discipline look like for the Potters? James wasn’t hit, wasn’t hurt–but Sirius was different. James was their real son, someone who didn’t have to fear consequences. Sirius was a guest, a stray dog taken in out of pity. A difficult kid.
Or, Sirius realizes he doesn't know how the Potters will discipline him. He tries to figure it out.
