Summary
Plusieurs siècles plus tôt, les Nymphes décident de créer un être de lumière capable de lutter face aux Cauchemars de Polokus. Pour cela, elle réunissent un grand nombre de Lums, mais en perdent un sac en chemin. Malgré cela, Betilla réalise la dernière phase de l'invocation. Rayman vient au monde, avec des membres en moins dû au manque de Lums.
Bétilla se charge de l'éducation du jeune héros et tente de lui faire comprendre sa destinée : protéger la Croisée des Rêves des Cauchemars. Mais Rayman se pose des questions sur la véritable raison de son existence. Est-ce vraiment sa destinée de devenir un héros ? Pourquoi devrait-il protéger des gens qu'ils le rejettent à cause de sa différence ? Summary
Centuries ago, the Nymphs decided to create a being of light capable of fighting the Nightmares of Polokus. To do so, they gather a large number of Lums, but lose a bag along the way. Despite this, Betilla carries out the final phase of the invocation. Rayman is born, with missing limbs due to the lack of Lums.
Betilla takes charge of the young hero's education and tries to make him understand his destiny: to protect the Glade of Dreams from Nightmares. However, Rayman wonders about the real reason for his existence. Is it really his destiny to become a hero ? Why should he protect people who reject him because he's different ? Summary
Un nouvel événement vient troubler l'équilibre de la Croisée des Rêves: les Lums sont soudainement frappés d'un mal étrange et meurent par centaine. Privés de leur source de pouvoir, les habitants sont impuissants face au retour des Cauchemars. Pour trouver une solution à cette crise, Polokus décide de quitter la Croisée pour se réunir avec les autres Dieux. Mais les jours passent, et Polokus ne revient pas.
Pendant l'absence de Polokus, le Cœur du Monde a explosé et la situation à la Croisée des Rêves est critique. Rayman, Globox, Murfy, Barbara et Clark luttent comme ils peuvent face aux Cauchemars. Inquiets de ne pas voir leur Dieu revenir, les héros décident de voir Bétilla, la seule à savoir comment le rappeler. Une nouvelle et longue épopée pour sauver la Croisée les attend...

Summary
A new event upsets the balance of the Glade of Dreams: Lums are suddenly struck by an unknown disease and die. Deprived of their source of power, the inhabitants are powerless against the return of the Nightmares. To find a solution to this crisis, Polokus decides to leave the Glade to reunite with the other gods. But as the days pass, Polokus does not return.
While Polokus was away, the Heart of the World exploded, and the situation at the Glade of Dreams is critical. Rayman, Globox, Murfy, Barbara and Clark struggle as best they can against the Nightmares. Worried that their God is not coming back, the heroes decide to see Betilla, the only one who knows how to call him back. A new and long epic to save the Glade awaits them...
