What they don’t expect to find though, is four children. Bloodied, hungry, and extremely wary of anyone but the other three.

Returning home from an information grabbing mission for a client, Kryoz and his team hadn’t expected to return home with four traumatized, dirty kids and one scraggly—probably flea infested— stray cat who the kids now adored. There’s a first time for everything I guess.
