A bad choice to sit on a railing atop a roof has far reaching consequences when it breaks and takes a boy once named Midoriya Izuku plummeting to his untimely death. Yet death isn’t quite the end he thought it was.
There had been some merit in Kacchan’s advice, Izuku thought wryly, to take a swan dive off a roof and pray for a quirk in his next life – because he did have a quirk that time around, even if he wasn’t quite born into his next life in the normal sense.

Summary
A miscarriage of justice was something that people so rarely talked about, and there were so few people who Midoriya Izuku could actually talk to those days. The world believed Midoriya Inko a mass murderer; a criminal deserving of the end she received at the hands of the law; and the world was ever so happy to tar her son with the same brush.
Midoriya Izuku knew better though, and he was determined to see the proper justice done, even if it broke the not-so-precious rules which had ensured his mother’s death.
He wasn’t quite expecting the adoption that came with his extracurricular activities though.
