Summary
Sam Winchester said yes to Lucifer possessing him in Detroit, and Lucifer unleashed his plans to destroy the world. His brother, Dean Winchester, couldn't face his role in this turn in events. However, once a blue-eyed solider saves Dean's life, Dean finds the will to set things correct and try to fix what he inadvertently started.
PLEASE NOTE: This takes place in the universe found in the episode The End, s5 ep. 4. However, the events are DIFFERENT. Also, Castiel and Dean do not know one another previously.
ADDENDUM AS OF 10/12/2023:
This is now tagged for a MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH. IT'S HAPPENING. It's going to be temporary but that doesn't mean it ain't going to hurt.
