Summary
“It’s me,” the man insisted. “It’s me, Marty – what did you do to me?”
Then, and only then, did Emmett grasp what he was trying to communicate. His mouth worked, dumbfounded at the concept he was being presented with. It was absurd. It was legitimately insane. “You’ve lost your mind,” he said. “Where’s my dog? What did you do with my dog –”
“You did this to me,” the man gabbled. “Yesterday after lunch. You stuck needles in me and then you told me I was your brave boy and then you let me eat a whole hotdog. Remember?”

There's a chance that adding human DNA to the formula may have been a mistake. A slight possibility that he's over-shot things...

Summary
Heaving a sigh he said, “What’s this all about, then?”
Marty pressed his lips together. Looking Emmett in the eye with an air of contrition, he said, “I might have bitten someone today, Doc.”
With a sinking feeling, studying his face once again, Emmett registered that the blood did not appear to be his. “Oh, Great Scott,” he groaned. He took Marty by the shoulders and said bleakly, “I gave you so few rules, kid.”

“Open up. Don’t be a baby.”
“I’m fourteen months old,” Marty reminded him.
“Yes, well –”
“That’s baby aged.”
“If you want to define yourself in the strict chronological sense, then yes, technically, you are an infant,” said Emmett. “However given that I presume you don’t want me to withdraw you from high school and put you into kindergarten, I suggest you act your physiological age and open your mouth.”

“Look!” he said, and tugging on the waistband of his pyjama pants he yanked them down to his ankles and in a swift motion kicked them off and tossed them across the garage. “There!” He threw up his hands in triumph. “No pants today! That better?”
Marty eyed him, looking dubiously at his long and hairy legs. He said, “I think I liked you better with those on.”
“Well.” Emmett put his hands on his hips. “Now you know how I feel, don’t you?”

Marty shrugged. “I wanted to see what it was like.”

Shooting him a sidelong look, chewing slowly, Marty said, “I thought that’s what the vaccines were for?”
“Oh – no, no,” Emmett stammered. “It’s a different kind of sick –”
“I’m kidding,” said Marty.
“I didn’t mean – you can’t get a vaccine for –”
“I’m kidding, Doc,” said Marty. “It was just a joke. Jeez, relax.”
