Summoned to an realm-wide event; Philza was entrusted with a youthful soul once more despite his initial hesitation.
Looking down at the wild blonde child he cradled, dragon horns poking through mussed sunshine tresses and small crimson-scaled wings flapping excitedly in his tired arms Phil’s heart ached to accept the small one. He wished peace upon this resilient creature, holding the boy tighter to his clenched chest.
Anxious about being labelled protector again with his past coming to taunt him why he shouldn’t, he held a precious gift despite his scrolls of bloody history. Though he wasn’t sure if he had to protect the child from the world around them, or himself.

The Angel of Death considers if he is truly able to be the best protector of the young on the QSMP.

The question Philza never hoped to answer left his son’s lips, high on the wall he had settled upon under the late day sun. His crow instincts were far too strong, something Techno would have ribbed him for, to pick such a high position for a home. With a heavy heart it was something the avian hybrid resolved the moment he stepped foot on the soil here, to remove himself from daily activities in case his poisonous touch of death infected the rest.

‘Tell me about Technoblade’.
The Angel of Death’s new charge commented a dear name to the ancient crow on the sign in front of him, a small blonde child looking at the avian hybrid with wide blue eyes filled with an ocean of curious questions. A dragon skull encased the top half of his face, held by some unknown force as wild gold curls spilled around it. His rose scaled wings were held close to his spine, peering up at the tall older blonde with an expectant stare.
“Oh Goddess, where do I start with that bastard?” Phil said with a wicked smile.

Picking back up his new scythe, his hands find familiar holds on the carved handle as he takes a few practice swings. It had been a very long time since the Angel of Death held a weapon such as this, the past few worlds only allowing him a sword or bow and arrow.
Flaring his crow-black wings wide, chest hurting as his sky eyes catch the shorn secondary and primary feathers, he allows the moniker to possess him once more. Taking a deep breath as he closes his eyes, seeing battlefields soaked in blood by his hand, he opens them once more to look over this world he woke up in mere months ago.

Philza is invited to the QSMP Electoral dinner only to find his chicks there, the same chicks he put to bed mere hours ago. As the realisation happens that these are not the real Chayanne and Tallulah, chaos unfolds as two binary monsters suddenly appear.

Hand clutching the metal knob, she yanks the door open and her vision turns white. Closing her eyes quickly she lets the warmth bathe her before a voice she missed the most greets her. A voice she wasn’t sure she would ever have the pleasure of hearing again, one that would soothe all her worries and offer comfort in the worst of times.
“NIKI!” Wilbur yells, prompting her to open her eyes the smallest amount as Wilbur rushes down the stairs she waits at the bottom of.
“Wil, is that really you?” Her voice is small before his tall frame engulfs her, holding her close.

Wilbur misses his best friend desperately and then someone answers his prayers, Niki waking on the world he was still struggling to fit into.

The strength lacked though due to moons of neglect, eventually his limbs snapping shut, unable to hold his weight as he plunged towards the river below headfirst. Unable to fly and unable to escape his own crescendo, he waited for the cold embrace of unconsciousness.
Or even death.
For what was he without the sky he couldn’t embrace? An avian trapped on the ground was prey waiting to happen, for something stronger to come along and end his miserable existence.

It was a desperate want, but with the appearance of the firefly he felt the smallest amount return. Perhaps there is a possibility he is lucky enough to lay eyes upon his world once more.
He felt his hold upon his sanity slipping, memories already burying themselves remembering the rancid feeling of rotting flesh between his teeth caked in blood. Holding close to the ones his soul called for, he hoped there was enough of him to save by the time he was freed from this pit.

Summary
The blonde crow stood for a moment on the dock remembering everything that had happened thus far. Thinking of their home within the wall they slowly made into their sanctuary, he takes a deep breath of the air here and mourns what they had there.
This new start had been jarring but welcome, wiping clean memories of strife but also joy. They had been through hell and heaven together on these shores, and today was the day that marked this old crow finding his purpose once more. Assigned a family and loving them from the start, he was a lucky man.
Here; despite all the terrible things that happened thus far, he found the reason his heart kept beating. In the form of a son who loved to cook and a daughter with a gift for music, in the silhouette of his reaper husband, in the bonds of his friends such as Fit, Cellbit and Etoiles among many other names. Today was the day to celebrate that one year of joy, and he intended to spend it properly.
