Summary
At the first Gala Jason attends, Tim works up the courage to speak to his hero and it's even going well! Until his Dad punches a guy...
What a way to make a first impression.
Or:
Tim hates Galas. Truly, deeply, in every fibre of his being, loathes them. That doesn’t stop him from being good at them, unfortunately. Each one is like pulling teeth from a stone, second by torturous second dropping by like water from a glacier.
Despite his usual loathing, he has to admit that this one has been… interesting.
The cause of this new intrigue has a name, a face, and is currently circling the gala’s edges, being introduced to its attendants. Tim watches Jason with poorly disguised interest, even though his parents’ determined schmoozing is keeping him from slipping to investigate the new Robin more closely.

Summary
"When they open out again, curtains rising on a broken stage, Tim’s room is smaller, the lighting softer. It was summer then, too, with Tim in between boarding schools. The camera at his side shifts to something in his hands, incongruous for the rest of the scene. A slim piece of black fabric, set in with two eye lenses, one is cracked, and crimson stains the fabric and lenses."
Or
Sent spiralling through nightmares, Tim swings through the worst parts of his life, luckily, Bernard is there to help.

Summary
Jason’s room is dark when he gets there, but not empty. They never cleared it out. Bruce hadn’t wanted to come anywhere near it, and Dick couldn’t do it alone. Couldn’t face the empty bed, the spare uniform. He’d come in to clean it, once, a year after he died. Pulled the clothes from the floor, the plates from under the bed, one last act of kindness for the brother he hadn’t been close with until it was too late. Jason’s spare mask had followed him, empty eyed and accusing, the entire time.
Now a new mask watches him as he enters. Red as a blood shadow on foreign dust, red as a Robin’s chest. Red as danger. Red as a stop sign.
Or, Dick gets a notification of someone new in Titans Tower. A lot of thing become very obvious very quickly.
