Summary
Alternate universe of ‘the cute guy next door’ series.
Instead of Hitoshi following the hero track at UA, life takes two steps to the left and leads down a darker path for those that survive a terrible catastrophe during the students’ first year at UA.
Izuku’s story remains kind of the same as a quirkless civilian analyst just doing his best until he meets the stranger next door. (But when things get tough, some people can't help but step up to fill in the gaps, and maybe Izuku has a few extra secrets tucked away.)
