Summary
Through some clever decisions, the Alpha Timeline being fucked up by the existence of soulmates, and Karkat's sheer force of will, everyone's made it to the meteor...on the golden Battleship. The newly united twelve trolls and four humans plus extras are partying away, as a bunch of teens who narrowly survived death will do, but Karkat...isn't joining them.
No, he's tired. Not just tired, completely exhausted. For six hundred and thirty-six hours plus time before the Game, he's been struggling to keep this miserable crew of fools on track and alive while worming his way through complex feelings that he doesn't have time or energy to confront. The last thing he wants is more drama, and while he'd love to celebrate, his mind is on his recuperacoon more than the festivities.
Aradia, on the other hand, is overjoyed - she never thought she'd be alive again to celebrate anything, and she's taking full advantage of having her emotions back, as well as her abilities to do regular troll things she missed - like smile, hug people, and find her soulmates. She tries to drag Karkat into the revelry, but it doesn't go as planned or expected. More drama, predictably, looms on the horizon.

Summary
Since they were young, despite all their pain and isolation, both Dirk and Eridan at least have one thing to fall back on - the bond that brought their minds together, letting them communicate and know what the other is feeling despite the distance of time and space between them. It helps them both hold out hope despite the peril of their situations, and to remain strong despite everything.
When Eridan's darkest hour arrives, tempted to lash out, hurt himself and his friends and turn himself over to Jack Noir, Dirk tries his best to intervene. He's not just going to let Eridan fall away so easily, even if he has to resort to being more open than he ever normally would.

Summary
Almost everyone has at least one timer on their wrist or arm counting down to the moment when they'll meet their soulmate. Psiioniic has precisely one, as is relatively common - but there's something strange about it, something that seems to be entirely unique to him. His timer is billions and billions of sweeps long, far longer than any troll could ever live. It's frustrating, it's upsetting, and it makes no fucking sense. He lives long, longer than he should, even finding others in his position, but still - there's nothing.
However, a new life on Earth C seems to promise him and his loved ones a second chance.
