Some context:
- the timeline is stretched longer than canon but their hiatus is 2 years long
- the characters go through roughly the same physical transformations as in canon during the band"s hiatus (except for the extreme stuff like Franky, he"s just a really buff dude)
- everyone is human (obviously)
- set in the US (but i"m not american so like bear with me if you see some stuff that sounds unrealistic for the country it"s set in)
- same age gaps as in canon
- as a point of reference for the time period: Luffy was born in 1998 (like me <3)
Style, inspiration, etc:
I don"t know that much about music (I"m a casual enjoyer) but I imagine they would be like All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, My Chemical Romance.... These kinds of Vibes(TM)!!
Band roles:
- Luffy > band leader, lead singer, writer & composer, plays guitar and a few other instruments (basically a music genius)
- Zoro > bassist, backup singer
- Nami > band manager (pre-hiatus), singer, dancer
- Usopp > artistic director and technical expert
- Sanji > singer, main guitarist, composer
- Chopper > just here to have a good time (pre-hiatus), band doctor and roadie & security (post-hiatus)
- Robin > singer, writer & composer, plays a few instruments but piano is her fave
- Franky > drummer and "strong guy to carry heavy stuff"
- Brook > music expert, writer & composer, plays all instruments but likes violin and guitar the most
- Jinbe > roadie & security (post-hiatus)
