Neither Shenhe nor Chongyun have ever been particularly adept at reading people. Shenhe takes this observation with a grain of salt.
“Enough out of you.” She elbows him none too gently in the ribs. “Get back to loading the car. Nǎinai fusses enough about my nonexistent love life without you getting involved as well.”
Shenhe keeps running into the same woman everywhere she goes, a feat that should be statistically impossible in Liyue Harbor. Yelan excels at defying the odds. Chongyun just wishes his cousin would let him pay for boba once in a while.

Okay, so maybe moving cross-country on a red-eye flight (and one that got delayed by three hours, at that) wasn’t the smartest idea Gaming’s ever had. But here he is, on a sidewalk in front of a still-closed restaurant somewhere in Chihu Rock, running on approximately two hours of sleep and one terrible cup of airplane coffee, with nothing but a phone that’s been dead for the past five minutes to guide his way. Definitely a first day in Liyue Harbor for the books, if nothing else.
Gaming moves to Liyue Harbor and finds love, new friends, and his new favorite neighborhood restaurant (not exactly in that order).
