Summary
Artemisia is a werewolf drifter from a world much like our own but with a few differences, the most notable being the existence of Werewolves and Vampires (amongst other things) hiding among the Human masses. She has spent the last three years moving from city to city making money through labouring, song and the occasional underground fight. She had a good routine going until a green wormhole opened up while she was on the road and pulled her through it, across the dimensional barriers and into a brand-new world. Now she has to keep her Lycanthropic heritage a secret in a world where werewolves are believed to be caused by demonic possession while leading an army that is basically a religious crusading force in an attempt to save the world… shit.

Summary
Originally I planned to slowly reveal the details of the werewolves of this world through the course of my stories but a friend suggested I post a master post explaining the details of my world so people can skip fics they don't want to read and not miss out any details or so people don't get confused reading one-shots.

Summary
There are tales of werewolves and similar creatures going as far back as humanity has existed. Hybrids of humans and predatory animals that haunt the wilderness and prey on humanity. The modern world believes these tales to be simply that, tales. But some people know otherwise. Some know the truth.
Werewolves exist. Both amongst us and in the remaining wild places of the world. This story is about one of those werewolves. It is the story of a young woman named Artemisia and her first transformation.
