Summary
Doctor Jonathon Emmet Reid was discharged from his duty as a field medic due to his mother's failing health. Europe's most eminent blood specialist he practically revolutionized blood and organ transfusions during the Great War. Walking by the Thames he's almost home and glad to be back in London if he was truly honest with himself.
However, the next thing he knows is that he's pulling himself out of a mass grave, confused, disorientated and inexplicably thirsty.
Jonathon had to adjust to life as not only a Doctor but a vampire as the Spanish Influenza ravages its way across London.

Summary
Jonathan returns to London and his family, he had unfortunately spent longer than he anticipated in Scotland with Elizabeth and as if often does, time slipped by without his notice. He feels bad about just how long he's been missing, those he loves and cares for must have been worried about him, twenty years is a long time by human standards.
London had changed and the Doctor is going to need to relearn how to cope with living in society. He had friends who know and understand what he's going through, they're doing their best but-... How does one recover when it feels like your world has been shattered and you feel like it's partially your fault.
Not everyone is happy to see Jonathan Reid back in London and a lot of the vampiric community do not agree with his idea that the vampires of London should try to co-exist with the humans they live beside. Humans are food, not friends, surely Reid can understand that. The supposed 'Champion of Myrddin' a human sympathiser? It's a disgrace to their species. Not to mention that if the rumours are true, Jonathan shared a relationship with the Leader of the Guard of Priwen. He is clearly nothing more than a traitor to all vampires.
