Description:

An AU in which the Heartstopper characters are American and in marching band. (Sorry I had to make them American, they don't have high school marching band in British schools.)

Charlie- Is in drumline. Marched tenors/quads his freshman year and then refused to march them again. He marches snare now.

Darcy- Marches trumpet and is the section leader.

Tara- Marches clarenet.

Elle- In color guard

Tori- Currently a drum major, was in guard before that though.

Nick- plays soccer instead of rugby because we don't have high school rugby in America and football is dumb. He hangs out with the band because he's dating charlie and is friends with the squad.

Tao- isn't in band. Just comes to football games and competitions for moral support. He's been friends with Charlie and Elle from the beginning so he knows how marching band works and to his dismay is stuck teaching Nick more than he'd like.
