Description:

Part 1 - Acts - A string of smutty one-shots related to the story in Part 2, although they could be enjoyed alone. There are links within the Author Notes that take you to the right place in the main story after each "chapter" in Acts
Part 2 - Redbird - the main story, which occurs just outside of canon up through chapter 6, with certain deviations and detours from canon (Complete)
Part 3 - Afterlife - the story that immediately follows the events of Redbird (In-Progress)
Part 4 - Free Roam - The post-canon counterpart to Acts

Notes:

This work is mainly written in and around canon, taking a few major liberties with time, distance, and events.

Written in 2nd person, in which the reader is an original character, in the same way the game addresses the player in 2nd person. Some of us love to get lost in a character who *isn't* us, and doesn't have our name, in an in-depth story, with the level of immersion of a reader POV, which is what drew me to the style in the first place. To a significant extent, her physical attributes remain undescribed, but due to the depth of the story, and the necessities of character development, she became herself over time. Apologies to readers who would feel excluded by her appearance or identity - I would love to see more reader-OC stories with greater diversity all around, expanding the world and giving us lenses we might not see through otherwise. I hope Nell's existence as a character, and specifically one experiencing grief and trauma and attempting to find her place in the world, contains things that are relatable and even enjoyable and meaningful for readers, regardless.

Regarding the "Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings" AW: There will be no depictions of underage content, suicide or rape/non-con. There are allusions to assault, brief description of attempted assault in the past, but nothing illustrated in detail. Some minor suicidal ideation is referenced. Where I feel it could be necessary for anything more specific, I add a content/trigger warning to the notes for that specific chapter, and try to navigate sensitively in that regard. *Anything that happens in canon is always possible.*
