Summary
Jonathan Reid’s been stuck in a time loop since he started trying to resolve the epidemic of the Blood of Hate. Every time he fails, he resets. He’s tired of dying and he’s tired of failing but no matter what he does, he can’t get past the fight with Geoffrey McCullum. On his most recent loop, he just gives up, and tries to reset by letting McCullum kill him, again. What’s one more death, of many? It has no meaning to him anymore.
Then he wakes again, but this time, McCullum's with him, at the point he always loops to: the tenement he hides in, right after he wakes, with Myrddin's voice whispering in his ear, "Try again." Now, he has to work together with his onetime enemy to end the epidemic, or they’ll be stuck looping through November and December of 1918 forever. But maybe there is hope, because two heads are better than one, and Geoffrey McCullum is more than meets the eye.
Glacial slowburn McReid, considering McCullum starts off thinking Reid is responsible for the epidemic, and progresses from the immediate aftermath of the McCullum fight assuming McCullum wins, but this time they both reset instead of Jonny going alone for the 35th time.

Summary
There are multiple means of portraying timelines; a singular time loop is only the one. And even time loops become unstable at a certain point. This story explores the ripple effects of the decisions Geoffrey and Jonathan make as they pertain to Pembroke, Priwen, and London.
This story parallels Loop 2, Treachery.
Mostly centered on Pembroke staff, this story also attempts to flesh out Pembroke in a way that's more satisfying than the game allowed, and gives Edgar Swansea a more satisfying character arc than canon does, and more of a role.
Each chapter notes whose PoV it is, and where in the timeline it matches up.
