Summary
The reconnaissance of the land surrounding Icarus Hall had led to their discovery of the Copperhead’s corpse, lacking the missing pieces of Charity Dow’s soul and left laying there for any trekker to see. That was their first hiccup, easily solved. But it was Temperance’s first fatal mistake as well.
Then there was the ticking bomb that was the piece of Charity living inside of Ace, which only made Nancy and the rest of the Crew more determined and focused on finding a solution, as opposed to the panic Temperance thought would reign. Instead, Ace’s desperate text through the group chat had made all of them sharper.
Or, the Drew Crew are smart af and I refuse to ignore that
