The three behaved strangely as all of them made their way down the mountain, right into the town at its foot. It was just as lively as always, maybe even more lively then on other days.
Or was that his imagination? Wei Wuxian watched the juniors gently tease each other and couldn’t help but chirm in sometimes to make his own commends.
They jumped around more than normal, a skittish energy in their steps. Wei Wuxian pursed his lips and looked towards Lan Wangji, who only watched the juniors with an unchanged gaze.
