Description:

Basically this is the collection of my ABO fics, because my ABO concepts are very non-traditional and complicated and I'm putting the explanations for them here.

Notes:

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR MY ABO STORIES:
-There are 5 secondary genders, or designations (more correct term): alpha, beta, omega, theta, and delta. Thetas are people who are (almost always) afab that have both alpha/omega characteristics (meaning they can both impregnate and get pregnant). Deltas are people who just didn't present for any number of reasons, meaning they could be any secondary gender; we just don't know. Yes, deltas are sterile.
-Omither/Omi refers to a male omega parent. Amither/Ami refers to a female alpha parent. Themither/Themi can be used to refer to a theta parent, but this is uncommon. Most thetas just use the terms "mother/mom."
-Punnett squares are a thing, because each sex chromosome has one gene for ABO characteristics. Α is the most dominant, Β the second dominant, Ω the third dominant, and Θ the least dominant. This means omegas are either ΩΩ or ΩΘ, and thetas are always ΘΘ.
-Presentation occurs between the ages of 12-16. If someone doesn't present at 16, they are designated as a delta until they do. Yes, this means if you're a delta, you may not always be a delta. (Yes, I will be exploring this at some point in the future - with Steve Rogers, specifically!)
-Presentation =/= puberty exactly. The only time puberty does not happen is because of medication/pituitary problems, like irl. Presentation can not happen because of genetics, sickness, medication, etc. Causes are not always known
-Thetas are usually polyamorous. Not always, but this will most likely be a common theme with me when you seem 'em in my stuff.
-Omegas, thetas, and beta women all have heats. With omegas and betas, these heats occur every ~3 months and last around 2-4 days (longer for omegas, shorter for beta women). Heats are usually not inherently sexual. Although sex does often happen in heats, it's usually only to treat symptoms the heat causes: fever, cramps, excess slick production in omegas and thetas, so-called "brain fog," and etc. Beta women only really have the cramps and mild slick production, so it's more comparable to a period for them than an actual "heat." Heats are also referred to as "in estrus."
-Alphas and thetas both have ruts. For alphas, these ruts occur once a year, usually around March to May. Ruts last between a week to two weeks. Like heats, they are not usually inherently sexual. Symptoms are usually aggression, jealousy, possessive behavior over their mate/familial members, fever, and general malaise. Also like with heats, though, the symptoms can be treated with sex.
-Since thetas have both heats and ruts, they usually get one of each a year: rut in March to May, and heat in September to November. Their heats often last longer because of this, around 7 days. There is some evidence to suggest omegas with the Θ gene might also have longer heats because of this, but often in my stories it isn't 100% proven.
-Probably more, this is just what I can list off of the top of my head.
