Summary
A basic understanding of the evolutionary advancement of the races of Hyrule produced a set of conclusions.
Number one, All humanoid races in Hyrule are separate species. Number two, all humanoid races were technically evolutionarily close enough to each other to have viable offspring, for some unknown reason. And number three, hylians are weird as shit.

Summary
Mipha found that, relatively speaking, Link was relatively predictable in most circumstances. He ate the same thing on a near perfect schedule, very rarely did he deviate from his typical wardrobe, he always did sword training every single day at the same time, and for the most part, he very rarely did anything with his hair aside from spending the half an hour necessary to comb through what was quite literally a lion’s mane. He even methodically counted and checked his stripes every few days just to see if he’d gained any more, or to see if any were turning colors. He was methodical, and if nothing else, the few brief moments of spontaneity were interesting to watch, as the future knight held a little closer to the future part and reminded himself that he was still a kid.
It was moments like this that made her wish she had less of the spontaneity.

Summary
Mipha knew it, and she really wished she didn’t know her friend so well because maybe then she wouldn’t have been watching him shimmy up Ploymus mountain with the barest ghost of equipment and no armor, and completely unable to go after him because whatever was up there had shock arrows and even the most resilient zora would fold under even two of those.
Whoever gave Link access to a horse had quite possibly made one of the worst mistakes a person could make.

Summary
Princess Zelda of Hyrule. Poised, proper, and perfectly brilliant. A phenomenal study, wise beyond her years, and the model of a true princess.
Oh, if only people knew what she was like behind closed doors.
In spite of all those truths, given even the slightest push towards chaos, Zelda could and would lean into it in earnest. Despite all her many princess-y traits, she was an absolute and complete troll.
Mipha quite enjoyed this side of Zelda.

Summary
“Link is in early training to be a member of the guard. When Stendval entered the Training Field to get Link, he had warned Mipha and I to remain outside. We failed to listen, and as I was watching the archers practice, there was an… incident.”
At this, Urbosa frowned. “An incident?”
“One of the soldier’s bowstrings snapped. The nocked arrow came right for me, but Link managed to bat it away in time. Since we never made the event known to my father, I never got to, well, thank Link properly.” Zelda went quiet, mumbling something else towards the end that Urbosa couldn’t quite hear.
“Tweet louder, little bird.” Urbosa said with a smile. Zelda took a deep breath, and stood up a little straighter.
“...I would like to see Link again, so that I may offer a proper thanks.”
Urbosa stood up, stretching slightly. The royal family was relatively well liked, but the King’s adherence to tradition meant that, to some degree, there was always some level of disconnect between the people of the Castle and the commoners. Her father enforced this tradition on Zelda herself, and as such, she’d wanted Urbosa’s help in making sure that she was allowed to go out. Really, what was Urbosa supposed to do?

Summary
Mipha was ecstatic.
She hadn’t seen Link in a few months by this point (becoming a member of the guard had cut into his free time significantly by now), and she’d even missed his birthday in the midst of the mess. Now he was coming to visit for a whole two weeks.
She was getting bored of the normalcy of everyday life.

Summary
“So he told you to return when you mastered a sword and shield.”
“Mhm.”
“And you’re actually following through?” Mipha emphasized every syllable.
“Yep.”
“Are you sure I should come with you? This seems like the type of thing that I’m not suited for. Swords kind of… how do I say this? They hate me.” Link snorted. “I’m serious. Last time I picked up a sword, I nearly took down part of Zora’s Domain.”
“How in the world did you manage that?”

Summary
After four days, Veraad had learned that Mipha manifested a bizarre strength of both body and will whenever the cub started acting dangerously. For the most part, it ended up that she would simply join him and make an attempt to get him out of danger as fast as possible so she could work her healing magic.
He’d also learned that she was more than capable of dragging the cub away if she thought it was too dangerous, and that her words alone were a good enough deterrent to keep it from reaching that point nine times out of ten.
Pouting slightly, Link sighed. “One more try.”
“If you hurt yourself you’re staying down in Zora’s domain for a full week, so choose carefully if you want to take that last try.” Mipha warned.
