Summary
Those shaking hands and stories on the lips of elders and children alike have also claimed; go deep enough to the desert and they will see you, and once they see you enough, you will see them. Trembling and quivering and small and cold and lost; the emotions never varied in those many records he’s encountered but their image often did, changing as a nod to interpretation.
They say hollows become hollows when they’d prefer death over life, but do not want to die. A wonderful, horrible contradiction. On rituals, phoenixes, and the darkest evening of the year.

Summary
He can’t quite explain what he sees beyond that it’s not the General.
That it’s just not him; even if it has his face, his voice.
The lightning that keeps flashing around him; striking the walls and floor and the lights, painfully bright in the ensuing darkness; only one part of the picture. The way he sways in place and moves like he quite doesn’t know how to operate his body anymore, some movements too fast and some painfully slow and almost freezing, pausing mid-motion, standing with his head tilted like he’s watching something interesting, yet no expression on his face.
Mostly, Cody freezes up because of the eyes. The mind of a star quashes the man.

Summary
What happened to her wasn’t exactly a betrayal. It wasn’t as clean. It wasn’t the explicit declaration, the pressure of a nozzle digging into her back; they didn’t even want to think of it that way, and that was that. Just business as usual. Just a small misstep. A hasty attempt to turn it to a complete test and say Sorry about that, would you like a raise?
And fuck that.
She needed time alone.Bars don't really make a good place for a conversation, but sometimes that's all you have.

Summary
At the depth of the near-endless walls, water churns and groans and bubbles against its restraints; he cannot see it but the sound haunts him as he wills his mind his own.
Not even this closed-off space is safe from humidity and from the endless vapor and fog that sneaks in and glimmers with white dots that complement the one he has to blink out whenever the world tries to tunnel and he pulls on the Force to steady himself.
It’s like a game of push-and-pull to stay conscious. Something here wants him to see those flashes; demands it, almost, and he doesn’t know whether the Force has anything to do with them anymore.Of fog and how it drowned the world.

Summary
The world is too loud. It is hostile. He doesn’t understand it, and he doesn’t think.
He just runs until the violet-purple-red-white and the fire and its choking, putrid, annihilating smoke become nothing but a continuous scream, a raging beast in the distance.Of what was sated, and how it never should’ve been.

Summary
Now, all he can think of when he finally lifts his eyes to stare at the looping image of Grievous (assured, unafraid as always, elegant with that ever-present dangerous edge that makes Kenobi’s heart jump every single time he sees him) is the letter. The letter hidden in a box buried in an abandoned park deep within Coruscant’s underworld.
The dread that came with love.

Summary
The legend claimed, as legends do; when one walks around a midnight church enough times to count, they may access the heart of the Cosmos, and they may cross the plane of time itself and walk between its hundred layers. It said; walk up to a church at midnight— specific days, holidays unused in a thousand years— and see the future, and see the past, and bear it. They spoke of to-be-murderers contacted by the wandering from hundred years in the future and gifted knives to save the murdered no matter how much it might anger the ancient G-ds, they spoke of men becoming affixed with demons and the mysteriously killed scattering in the wind.
It made for really good stories. It also was, quite obviously, highly implausible. If you walk round the church at night, something may awake.
