Summary
“Just- just give me a minute. Please.” Tenten clenches her eyes shut and focuses even harder on blocking out everything but the skin beneath her fingertips.
Lowly, faintly, but surely, Tenten feels an internal thud.
Her eyes snap open.
He’s still alive.
***The fix-it fic we all deserve and a partial character study. Focuses mainly on recovery and Lee and Tenten being great friends to Neji, with some pining thrown in. Tagged for violence solely because of Neji’s canon injuries which, in this story, Do Not Kill Him.

Summary
Sakura spots Lee’s aforementioned precious friends through the parted fabric. It’s certainly not unusual to see the two of them paired up given their team’s dynamics, but there’s something strange about their combined presence that Sakura just can’t put her finger on.
**
In which Sakura evaluates her own friendships and love life, only to be confused by the friendship/love life of two other shinobi she’s recently seen a lot of.

Chapter 2 is an author update if you’d like to see where the overall process is at!

Summary
“I think… oh my, Lee.” Tenten’s chilled hands fly to her warming cheeks. “Damn it, Lee!”
“Are you alright?”
Saying it out loud doesn’t make it any realer, but it does feel more definite. That flighty feeling resurfaces within her, her palms sweating in her gloves. It hardly matters whether she has wings or not; the zoo of butterflies in her stomach will carry her across this emotional chasm safely, or will keep her hovering in the air if nothing else.
But first she has to jump.
“I… I am in love with Neji.”
**The sequel to my other work, Resilience. Not abandoned.
