Summary
There's something scary about Chat Noir. Obviously there's a person under the mask, but who? What is he like? What does he think? What motivates him?
Ladybug trusts him. That's supposed to be enough. Yet...
There's something terrifying about Chat Noir. It has nothing to do with his powers of Destruction. It has everything to do with him.
Chat Noir is a bit of an enigma.

Summary
Chat Noir rarely disagrees with Ladybug. He doesn't really have to, whether because of the simple pleasure he takes in going along with her or because he wants to be part of her plan.
Alya can't help but notice that the only person Ladybug seems to listen to is Chat Noir.
She can't help but feel a little frustrated at that as she thinks about why that is.

Summary
Chat Noir's a friendly guy, or he's supposed to be. Nino doesn't really see it. The better word to describe him as aloof, maybe stand-offish. He doesn't really know what happened, they got along fine before.
Maybe there was something wrong?
Nino looks into Chat Noir and gains perspective and a bruise for his efforts.

Summary
Butler Jean is, rather predictably, a butler. He serves as a career. He isn't a bartender, nor a chef. He is not paid to have thoughts, nor to share them.
And yet, his most frequent customer is Chat Noir, a hero everyone knows to be happy, except this Chat hardly seems happy.

Summary
Back then, it was just her and Chat. It was stressful, but not like now.
They were friends, but also nothing like now. In hindsight, it was easier to see how this was the first step towards that. She hadn’t thought about the mysteries of her partner
“Have you heard of the lily of the valley?”
There was a fire in her, a desire to learn more about him that hadn’t quite ignited yet. It was the past.
Landing on the roof is as easy as modern-day time travel. One second, every second, moving forward as deliberately as possible.
“You’re my partner.” Softly, she glared at him. “The one and only Chat Noir. And Don’t you dare forget that.”

Summary
It’s important to believe your friends when they say things. Alya knows this very well, considering her best friend’s tendency to do one thing and say another.
It’s important, for example, to believe your friends when they say they don’t have a crush on someone.
But damn, it’s getting hard to defend her friend. Who writes an extensive list of ‘Tips’ for a boy she doesn't love?

Summary
Luka’s life is...a little complicated. He lives in Paris, and normally that’s enough to get people to understand the complications. Fortunately, unfortunately, the list goes on from there. Paris is only a starting point.
The girl he loves is in love with someone else. It goes on. The girl, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, is in love with Adrien Agreste, an extremely well-known supermodel. He’d known that before, during, and after falling in love with her.
Marinette had another life she had to keep a secret. He respected that up until he hit a breaking point, and even then he hadn’t broken. He’d bent.
She was Ladybug. Complication. Ladybug is loved by her partner, Chat Noir. Complication. Chat Noir is actually Adrien Agreste, the boy Marinette loved. Well, who would have thought? Complication.
Luka genuinely likes his life. It’s just complicated sometimes. Normally he does try to play it cool. A complex piece of music doesn’t get any easier when it’s sped up, so he might as well take it slow and enjoy the tune. A piece of him is a little frayed at the fact that somehow, being a superhero is the least complex part of his life.
He’s part-time. That’s probably part of it.
