Summary
Shepard was an enigma, the great unknown beyond her Alliance poster girl image and myth of a war hero. As late as she came aboard, they barely had exchanged two words before being dropped off on Eden Prime together and into a complete mess. Strangers, really. And yet, she didn’t hesitate one second to push him out of the way of harm and put herself in the middle of it instead. Hopefully she wouldn’t pay for this act of selflessness with her life, hopefully he’d get the chance to apologize and thank her alike.
Set very early game, in/after Eden Prime, following Kaidan dealing with one crisis to the other, while hoping he hasn't killed his XO and military career at the same time. Meet cute, the Shenko kind. Awkwardness ensues. A lot.

Summary
“Th–that is quite the literal translation,” Shepard managed, and wiped tears of laughter out of the corner of her eyes. “Malaka!”
Alenko’s omni-tool blipped once more. “Man who rubs –“
“Could you please stop reading the translation logs out loud, Chief?”
Her grin, present for a while already, widened further. “Is this an order, Sir?”With Saren having fooled the Council, it is now up to Team Milky Way to find proof of his guilt for Eden Prime. A direct follow up to "3 AM" and a quite different "missing scene" novelization of the events on the Citadel up to Shepard becoming a Spectre, under a heavy Shenko lense. ME1. Two-shot. Rated M because of Nora's very liberal application of swear-words and f-bombs xD

Summary
“You have to get up, the facility is under attack.”
Attack from whom? Last time the attack of an unknown vessel sheared the ship in half and killed– Shepard's eyes flew open. She should be dead. She died out there, in space. All alone, suffocating. One would not wake up from that.
Why was she not dead, then?
A rewrite and extension of the start of ME2, with the focus on the psychological impact coming back from death has on Shepard, two years later in a galaxy that has moved on without her.

Summary
And now where she was back, like a star reborn from the void that swallowed her over Alchera, he was at a loss what to do with this fact. Throw her over his shoulder and run away away away until she was safe from Cerberus’ reach? Take her into his arms and kiss her senseless with two years worth of longing aching in every fiber of his being? Yell at her, call her a traitor for working with Cerberus, because she was and, and…but… – The soldier and man in him both wanted different things, and his integrity and loyalty warred with the murmuring of a second chance. Two hearts, one chest with not enough room for both.
Set in ME2. Kaidan meets the ghost of the woman that has haunted him for two years. Horizon Fix-It Fic™ because Shepard's ingame dialogue there is the wooooorst.

Summary
“I don’t blame you for this, Kaidan. I never did. You did what you had to do,” she said as suddenly as the fact of her advanced piano skills. Stopping, she turned, the tears in her blue eyes as bright as the stars she'd come to fear. “The times you walked away from me after that were much worse, to be honest.” Not missing a beat, or note in this case, she picked up the song where she left it off before throwing this at him like a grenade in the field.
Shepard hasn't left her cabin for a whole day, holing up while writing reports. So EDi urges Major Alenko to check up on her. He is only all too happy to oblige to this request, as it gives him not only reason to see her, but also to figure out why she isn't finding any sleep. ME3, set about two weeks after "Reignite."Series
