Summary
The firelight makes them glow, and Geralt watches as Jaskier coaxes his fingers through Valdo’s hair. He can hear them murmuring.
Darling, you’ve got to take better care of your hair, Jaskier chastises. He presses a kiss to Valdo’s shoulder, idle as he braids.
Why, when I’ve got you to take care of it for me? Jaskier smacks his shoulder, and Valdo laughs as he looks down at his sketchbook.
Or, Jaskier and Valdo fall in love with each other and then fall in love together <3 Geralt pines after them, not realizing that he's already become a part of what they have.

Summary
“Good job, Jas,” Valdo says with a kiss to Jaskier’s shoulder, and grabs his own short sword. He stands opposed to Jaskier, and the bard’s just barely kept from fawning over how delectable his lover looks with his thin chemise hugging his fine muscles and focus written into every inch of his face. He’s the same when he paint, and Jaskier admires him beyond words.
“Focus on dodging for me, darling, no need to—” and Jaskier lunges forward, sword raised.
Or, Jaskier lets his boyfriend think he's trash at sworfighting and proceeds to show his lover how very, very wrong he was in his assumption.

Summary
“How’s she doing?” Ciri babbles around her fist, almost affronted that the adults were talking about her as if she wasn’t there. Valdo smiles, guiding her hand away and wiping away her drool.
Jaskier turns his head to look at them from the passenger seat, Geralt glancing from the rear view mirror. “She’s alright,” Valdo says, the feisty little thing fussing and demanding attention. They’d been caught in traffic for nearly an hour now, barely inching forward. He’s sure Geralt’s fingernails are bitten raw at this point, and Jaskier’s knee hasn’t stopped bobbing for a long while.
An undead modernverse au with my new favorite ship :)

Summary
A body with a still heart and staggering steps. A body without a soul. Jaskier had been so beautiful, but Geralt had been enamored by the cleverness of his brain, his sharp tongue and how filled with life he’d been. There’s an empty shell that walks behind him now, humming quietly to itself.
Jaskier is turned but retains some of his personality. He's entirely nonviolent, following them like a little duckling. It breaks Geralt and Valdo.

Summary
The door opens, and he falls forward and into the arms of his old lover’s embrace. A strong arm encircles his waist, the other coming to rest upon the back of his head as Jaskier slouches against him. “What brings you here?” Valdo asks, “Did the monsterfucking get old, darling?” Jaskier closes his eyes against his shoulder, will too weak to keep the tears from slipping down his cheek.
Or, Jaskier finds reprieve in his old friend after the events at the Blue Mountains.

Summary
Valdo’s always thought he was beautiful, but with his dumb face squished against their pallet and his hair mussed to hell Valdo can’t help but fall in love with him all over again. The sliver of skin that Jaskier’s chemise exposes becomes a canvas— he imagines it dotted with intricate flowers and birds with the feathers of Jaskier’s eyes.
Or, Jaskier naps and Valdo paints.

Summary
“Hey.” Static fizzles back from the phone; the shitty connection from this room hasn’t changed apparently. He walks further into the room, clean carpet soft against his socks. Jaskier can still see the coffee stain, and he smiles he remembers the first time they’d tried the bitter drink and he’d nearly choked trying to spit it back out.
“Hello?” Valdo sounds half-awake, and Jaskier knows he’s squinting into the darkness of his room, curtains still drawn shut. Or maybe it’s three-am, and Jaskier’s the asshole who forgot that time zones existed.
Or, Childhood friends Valdo and Jaskier drift apart and find one another.

Summary
“Vampires,” Jaskier mutters, lost in thought. “Vampires are superior, yes.”
“Darling.” Valdo adjusts his grip on his partner’s waist as he stumbles. “Werewolves are far more romantic; fierce, loyal, and incredibly awe-inducing.” Jaskier shakes his head so violently that it makes them both stagger. Perhaps they should lay easy on the debates; they both lost a sense of time and of drink when it gets heated.
Or, two sappy idiots are too drunk to function.

Summary
He’d loved with the same ferocity many-a-man, but only one other save for Valdo had loved him back, and that had gone so well , hadn’t it? And now, he dreads it happening again; coming home exhausted, only to find Valdo— he chokes on a sob, unable to handle the pain of the idea, Valdo’s and Geralt’s faces blurring into one. “It hurts .”
“You’ll be okay, darling,” Valdo mutters after a long moment. Gentle fingers slide into his hair, and Jaskier dares to believe him.
Geral cheats, Jaskier falls apart, and Valdo pieces him together again. Alternative ending to You're not a monster, I said (but I lied). Happens after chapter 6.
