Description:

Hanahaki – an uncommon disease caused by unrequited love. With flowers of love blossoming within the victim's chest, the suffocation of the disease is slow. Tragic in the eyes of most, yet beautiful in the eyes of just as many.

There were only two known ways of removing hanahaki – pushing through the disease in hopes of having your love required, or, the most probable choice, having it and the ability to love surgically removed. A bitter fate.

In Seoul, South Korea, five boys were forced to come face to face with the disease, affecting them in ways more than one, and forcing them to realize that the ability to love was a privilege so many fail to acknowledge.

Blackthorns - the flower of fate, and hope in adversity.
