I know that this says it's a canon-divergence where Decimation didn't happen, but comics chains of events/cause-and-effect are so fucking convoluted that there might still be shit in here that's technically a result of that?

Also this is just sort of the comics world that lives in my head, so there's some stuff in here that only extremely tangentially relates to the X-Men, like the Young Avengers, because it's MY sandbox and I get to decide what toys to play with.

This is supposed to be a fix-it, but bad stuff still happens, it just happens in a way that I... like better? MOST characters will end up with happy endings, but it might take them a little while to get there.

My writing style and ideas for this 'verse are still evolving, so sometimes I will post re-writes of previous works. When this happens, they will be titled as "[original title] redux", and the previous work will be removed from the series. I will NOT completely delete the OG piece, it just won't be part of the series anymore.
