Monsters aren't the only magical beings on the Earth. All of humanity knew about mages already and had heard rumors of the monsters locked under a mountain. When monsters emerge, most of humanity assumes they now know about all of the magic there is on Earth.
They're wrong, of course, and that's where your little team comes in. You, a mage with the unique ability to sense soulless magical beings called alliumedes, join forces with Sans, Mutt, and Stretch to keep monsters and humans alike from the dangerous magic that most don't even know about.
