Summary
For the autumn festival, the Black Eagles attend a small celebration in a town near Garreg Mach. Hubert is content to simply be there if he's needed, but his classmates are insistent in involving him at every possible turn. So, when the majority of them want to go on the hayride and Hubert would just as soon keep his feet on the ground, somehow Ferdinand is the one to stay behind with him.
They're not enemies any longer, although not strictly friends either. Hubert wasn't hoping to find out what they've become as opposed to what they're not by way of awkward interactions.
