What makes a "family" a family? Is it two men who fight the unknown darkness of millennia and along the way pick up a band of misfit children with sad pasts and a whole bunch of animals? And maybe along the way, fall in love as well while being parents and fighting against a great evil? Oh, and did I mention tomb raiding?

(Essentially my take on the dmbj plot and all its pit falls only to fill it with fluff.)

Notes:

This is a series based on characters from the series Daomubiji/Grave Robbers Chronicles by Xu Lei with a pinch of characters from other cdramas that I enjoyed. A lot of it has a whole bunch of headcanons and theories gifted to me by my discord siblings on the Daomubiji sever.

The title of this series comes from the Ni/Co song "On Your Wings" in partnership with Kurt Hugo Schneider.
