Summary
“C-Crowley? Crowley, dear boy, what are you doing here?” Aziraphale asked after taking a pause to calm his internal panicking.
Crowley only snapped back to reality when Aziraphale laid a hand on his shoulder. “Ah? Oh, hey angel.” The demon tried to sound casual, but he could not help the panicked squeak that came out in his voice, “Fancy meeting you here.”
“Admiring the merchandise?” Aziraphale asked curiously, coming up beside his boyfriend to see what he had been looking at. His heart pounded a bit faster as he realized that the demon had been admiring the very ring he’d come to collect. “That’s a very lovely piece, dear,” he commented, tilting his head to the side a bit, “Looks custom-made.”
“Looks like someone else snatched it up already,” Crowley muttered, gesturing to the ‘Sold’ sign next to the ring, “Must’ve cost them a fortune. Custom pieces aren’t cheap, angel.”
“Yes, dear, I am aware of that,” Aziraphale replied breezily, trying not to give too much away.

Summary
“How long have you been standing here?” Keith demanded, crossing his arms over his chest.
“I came in halfway through ‘Since U Been Gone’,” Lance admitted sheepishly.
“Why didn’t you say anything?” Keith asked, stooping down to pick up his headphones and phone, which had clattered to the ground in his surprise.
“You were relaxed,” Lance replied with a shrug, stepping up to Keith and pressing a kiss to his cheek, “I don’t get to see that a lot. Plus, you were enjoying yourself, and I didn’t want to ruin that.”

Summary
“Do not tell me you’re thinking about using yourself as bait!” Penelope protested, propping a fist on her hip as images of Reid being tortured flashed through her mind, “I won’t let you-”
“Garcia, please,” Spencer insisted, abandoning his files to take one of her hands in each of his own, “Please, don’t argue with me about this. I want to help you.”
I have to be able to do something to help her since I can’t help my mom.
The woman’s stern and angry expression faltered and she sighed, squeezing both of the man’s hands and grumbling, “Seriously, why can I never be mad at any of you for more than five seconds?”

Summary
“Peter, you’re crying,” she commented, her voice softening as she stepped to his side, “You’re upset. This isn’t like you at all. Please tell me what’s wrong.”
Peter opened his mouth to form words, but his voice stubbornly refused to work, trapped in his throat by his emotions. Instead of any coherent words or phrases, he let out a choked hiccup and she, without hesitation, wrapped her arms around him, pulling his head into her shoulder. The dam he had been trying to keep together finally broke and tears rolled down his face as violent sobs wracked his lean form. Her warm hand rubbing up and down his back was his only tether to planet Earth. Otherwise, he was suspended somewhere between time and space, spinning his mental wheels uselessly in an effort to understand how the universe could be so cruel. How could the universe hate a person like Tony Stark, who gave up his very existence to save everyone else’s? It just wasn’t fair! Not to Pepper or Morgan or any of the other Avengers who had been close with Tony. Or me, he thought selfishly, clutching his aunt’s shirt in his fists, I need him now more than ever, and he’s gone…

Summary
Being caught up in her thoughts and conflicted emotions did not alert Pidge to Keith and Lance’s presence in the room until she noticed them at the corner of her vision. She felt her cheeks metaphorically burst into flame as she noticed the cocky, knowing smirk on Lance’s face. Gods, what she wouldn’t give to be able to go over there and wipe it off with her fist.
“Talking to your boyfriend?” Lance teased, earning an elbow in the ribs from Keith.
“Come over here, McClain so I can punch that arrogant smirk off your face,” Pidge growled, whipping around to face the disaster duo, “And maybe yeet you into next week while I’m at it.”
“And how do you plan on doing that, shorty?” the brown-haired young man taunted, “Honey, I am at least a foot taller than you. You’d either need a step stool or to sit on someone’s shoulders in order to do that.”
Keith’s lips twisted into a devious smirk, “Maybe you can ask Hunk. I bet he’d do it for ya'.”
“Next time we’re in a ship, I am so throwing you both out the airlock,” the brown-haired young woman grumbled through her teeth, turning her back on her friends and plopping back in her chair.

Summary
“We’re getting off-topic,” Tamaki commented, “I vote we get the dog. It could be our host club mascot and bring in some much-appreciated revenue. C’mon, Kyouya, I know you like money.”
“Tamaki, there are some other things I think you should consider,” Haruhi cut in, sounding a bit unsure of herself toward the end of her statement.
“Yes, there are,” Kyouya interrupted, placing his hands a bit too forcefully on the table, “First of all, where are we going to keep the dog? Haruhi lives in an apartment. The twins have already proved to be bad with animals. My family would probably kill and eat the dog before any caretaking action could be attempted. You can’t keep a plant alive for more than a week without it dying on you! And that doesn’t take into account the cost of keeping it fed and training it and everything else that goes along with having a pet! Do you ever think of the consequences of your actions or decisions, Tamaki?!”

Summary
Viktor carefully took the envelope from Yuuri and opened it, gasping aloud when he fished out what was inside. Four plane tickets and an itinerary for a two-week stay in Russia. Viktor felt his eyes fill up with tears and tossed the envelope aside, hugging Yuuri tightly to him. The Japanese man placed a reassuring kiss on his Russian fiance’s cheek, secretly grateful that his lover was as emotional as he had been when he discovered what their friends had done for them. He gave the other a few moments to sniffle before trying to extract himself from the crushing embrace and press their foreheads together.
“So, coach,” Yuuri asked, reaching over to wipe the lingering tear from Viktor’s cheek, “Do you mind if I take some time off to go on a honeymoon with my new husband?”
The corner of Viktor’s eyes crinkled, and a watery laugh bubbled up from his chest as he responded, “As long as you promise to take me with you.”
The raven-haired skater smirked, muttering against the silver-haired skater’s lips, “That is a promise I can certainly keep,” before gently locking their lips together.

Summary
Adora stared at the fading image, clearly stunned, "You told me you ran into a door…"
"What was I supposed to tell you?" Catra demanded, throwing her hands up in the air, "'Oh hey, Adora, I got my ass kicked by our mom because you got hurt, by the way. So can you like, not injure yourself while we're playing anymore?' Yeah, that would've gone over real well."
"I could have helped you!" the blonde yelled, feeling tears well up in her eyes.
"Helped me? Helped me?" the brunette cried in response, balling her fists at her sides, "You were the reason I got beat, Adora! But you know what? I still wanted to be friends with you. All of my happy memories from childhood were with you. And then you left me behind!"
