A broken young vet walks into a bar. He's drunk, and sobbing over a picture of men he can't possibly know.

Notes:

This series begins with an alternate version of the VFW scene, one where a kinder vet speaks to Klaus and asks questions rather than starting a fight. Each one is told from an outsider's perspective, giving a different view of Klaus.
