Description:

Humans weren't meant to live forever. Really, neither were half-elves, or elves, or dwarves...

More often than not, Cress found himself at a loss as to why Lloyd kept going. And from some of the answers he'd gotten from the millennia-old angel, Lloyd didn't always know, either. But after four thousand years, Lloyd didn't have it in him to just give up.

Maybe he should have. Or maybe continuing on was for the best. The only ones with the answers were the dead, who existed outside of time. And for all that they tried to help Lloyd along his path... Some things, even they are bound to silence on.

But Lloyd won't give up. No matter what. Even if it means going back in time ten thousand years. Even if it means dragging Arche and Cress and Dhaos along for the ride, or making a pact with a Ratatosk who remembers. Even if it means involving Yuan and Kratos in a war he wished they didn't have to fight. Even if it meant taking the chance that Mithos could lose Martel again.

He'll do whatever it takes... to keep himself and his chosen family going. Because in the end... they're all he has left.

Notes:

Currently sitting on five books, but that could change at any time. Still a definite work in progress.

**CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A BETA-READER FOR BOOK 2!**

Book 1 - Broken Wings (Fully written, being posted)
Lloyd Irving loved with all his heart... and lost everything he loved time and time again. So Origin sent his new Swordsman to kill him. Except... Cress made a different call.

Book 2 - Broken Sword (Draft 1 still being added to)
Cress Albane knew that being the Eternal Swordsman came with a lot of responsibility. But agelessness? That was his own choice, because he couldn't bring himself to kill the hopeless angel Origin had sent him to. It would be a long path to healing for Lloyd. Perhaps it was a good thing that Cress wouldn't have to go it alone... Though Arche and Dhaos wouldn't have been his first choices for help.
