Summary
This retelling of One Piece covers the Alabasta Saga in an Alternative Universe where Luffy recruits a larger and more diverse crew.
With a larger crew come unique challenges and obstacles they must overcome together including conflicting personalities and different wants and needs to have an enjoyable and sustainable journey. The story covers cannon arcs and how they are handled given the expanded roster but also includes a heavier emphasis on the slice-of-life moments between major arcs at sea.
At the end of each major Arc, Data Sheets will be released that break down general information about the crew members, fleet and treasure acquired. Several side stories have spun out of this Saga that will continue to parallel the crew's journey as they make their way to the Grand Line.

When I look at my brothers and sisters, I don’t see soldiers. I see children who are scared. Weak. Helpless. Acting on instinct and survival, hoping it'll be enough. And that’s why none will survive. At least not longer than me. Because as long as they are pitted against me, they will fall. And I will have to make them fall one by one if I am to survive.
To save this world, I have to lose myself. And take them down with me.

Please note, that, unlike my other fics, this one isn't overly sexual, mostly just referenced. There is a lot of blood and gore, though.
It's based around my original main character who I put into a romantic relationship with Jason Todd. It also takes place during Young Justice, so about halfway through the story, there are a lot of references to the second season and altered quotes from the show.Happy Reading!
