Summary
The room is dim and unlit when Wriothesley pushes the door open with his shoulder, two wine glasses in his hands. Before him lies a scene that paints a portrait of a somber environment. The marble pillars stand along the side the walls like torches heading up to the center of the room, connecting to the horizon point of the blue stained glass window and teal curtains. Almost as if a stream flows down to frame the most important subject of all.
Wriothesley takes his time standing there, absorbing the features of Fontiane’s sovereign.
From this close he can see where the foundations have been placed and worn out throughout the day and loves how he can see the natural skin blending through. He sees the wrinkles and light bruises powdered by makeup underneath the eyes and has a desire to kiss every part of him.

A one shot where Wriothesley gets a letter about a Chief Justice feeling a bit stressed and lonely from his work. Expressing a desire for a small break from away from all of the paperwork. The Duke decides this would be a perfect time to fulfill the Iudex's wish to provide a well needed distraction.

Though Sigewinne knew the Duke was more than capable of holding his own in a fight (after all she has been down at the Pankration Ring far more times she can count to provide first aid to the fighters, and Wriothesley was unfortunately her most common patient with how rough he took those battles), at the end of the day, she was his friend. Decorating his gauntlets with her stickers, even though he removed them only to stick them on his black colored notebook. Her drinks he made for him, even if he refuses to touch them. The man who always ruffled her hair and gave her compliments and listened to her findings on human emotions and facial expressions, clarifying points she couldn’t grasp.
If there was one person that meant to her instead of the Chief Justice, it was the man with black and dark grey hair who scared her when they first met.
Or Sigewinne has a terrible nightmare and seeks out Wriothesley late in the night for comfort, which he delivers with no hesitation
