Summary
Tim warned himself that Bruce wouldn’t be everything Tim built him up to be—the perfect superhero, the perfect mentor, the perfect father. So, it’s okay that reality doesn’t match up with his dreams. He’s not surprised, and he’s grateful for every scrap of affection he gets.
And then, Tim sees something that he isn't supposed to see.

Summary
Eventually, it turns into a game, of sort. How long can he go without eating? How much can he accomplish with a rumbling stomach? How long will it take someone to notice?
He’s vaguely aware of something called eating disorders, had seen the daughter of an important politician barf the buffet-food out an hour after dinner. Had seen the way she was considerably paler when she left the bathroom. Nobody talked about it. Besides, he’s pretty sure only girls can have eating disorders. And he doesn’t care about his looks, he’s not doing this out of vanity. Sometimes he’s not even sure what he’s doing at all.
It takes well over a decade before someone steps in

Summary
Tim is 5’1, 13 years old and weighs 80 pounds. He is clinically underweight, short for his age and stubborn. Tim has slight control issues, is afraid of abandonment and determined to stop Batman from being suicidal.
--
Years down the line, Tim will be seventeen and on the run, will be 18 and a solid 110 pounds, will have a body fat percentage of less than 7% and he will rummage through his file. He is trying to update it to include his asplenia and the treatment for it. Nobody had asked about the large gash across his stomach. He will see a note in his file.
Suspected eating disorder, (anorexia nervosa), recovered.
Recovered, yeah.
(Dick will discover the innocuous note two months later when Tim gets knocked out cold in a fight. He will stare at it, stare at his little brother, who’s bony wrists poke out in a way that seems unnatural. Will look at the weight and height and will think to himself that the Drakes had been tall people. When Tim wakes up, Dick is a mess, has been crying for a while and there are cookies on his nightstand. It’s a start.)

Summary
The real problem is that, well.
Last time Tim went undercover, he kind of… came home and embarrassed himself.
It’s not that he’s shy about being seen in disguise, okay? They can all tease him all they want but it doesn’t bother him. He has way more blackmail on his siblings than they do him, so whatever.
It’s just… Caroline Hill is a different story.
