Summary
Kaminari has a bad habit of short-circuiting. Like, a really bad habit. So bad that he's in the infirmary almost every day. He short-circuits during training, wakes up in the infirmary, sits through Recovery Girl's lecture, goes back to the dorms and goes to bed.
And then he does it all again the next day. Its always the same routine, and nothing ever changes.
Except it does, because it just did.
Midoriya is watching over him when he wakes up, then a lot of things happen that Denki really can't remember. He remembers the kiss though! And the fact he left that infirmary with a new boyfriend!

"Welp, I'm gonna head and get some food, dude," Denki stood and brushed off the back of his pants. "See you later?"
Midoriya gave Denki another smile. "See you later, Kaminari-kun. Thanks, for this. It was... really nice."
I love you. "Yeah, no problem! Anytime!"
Denki made sure he was a good distance away from where they'd been sitting, closer to the camp where the others were, before he bolted back to the building they were staying in and hid behind it, pressing his back to the wall.
Black dots filled his vision and he hunched over, curling his fingers to try and stop himself from itching at his eyes. The first tear fell with a soft chime, and Denki's hand caught it before it could hit the ground and shatter.

Offended, Denki sits up to give her his best baleful glare. "Hey, I resent that!"
"Oh, come on," she tells him, rolling her eyes. "You fall for someone new every week!"
"I don't-" Denki cuts himself off, remembering ranting to her last week about how pretty Bakugou is when he's not looking murderous. "Okay, yeah, no, fair enough."
Following his success at helping Jirou get together with Yaomomo, Denki decides to turn his matchmaking attention to Kirishima and Bakugou, who clearly like each other. He recruits Midoriya to help him, but as they hatch their matchmaking plans, it is Denki's own feelings that begin to change.

He remembered those old lessons on Hanahaki and it felt like some kind of big joke being played on him by the universe. He’d laughed at the time, so now the universe and the ghosts of people who’d died from it were going to laugh at him.
Denki stared at the flowers, mocking him from his hand. On instinct, he shoved all thoughts of flowers to the back of his mind and stuffed the things in his pocket.
Flowers were just pretty, fleeting things, and this too would pass.
