Summary
19-year old Kaeya, despite always wearing a handsome smile, is but a extremely bitter person on the inside.
He graduated as the most charming, popular and handsome guy of his high school. But an end always has a new beginning, and he has to build his reputation from the ground up in college again.
And that is the scariest thing. To begin all over again, to play a role until this too gets to an end.
Trying his hardest to deal with his insecurities and people pleasing tendencies, he tries to regain the reputation he found himself to have in high school.
Only for a man called Albedo, who doesn't even pay attention to others, to steal that popularity right from him.
Frustrated as he is, he begins to hate Albedo through his bitterness, only to turn into a victim to Albedo's eyes too.

Summary
Even though Albedo had always yearned to explore the world outside of the tower he has lived in for his entire existence, his master’s orders to stay kept him from doing so. That is, until an injured “swordsman” stumbled upon the isolated tower while Rhinedottir was away. Although Albedo healed the man, who he later learned was named Kaeya, he demanded he leave. However, Kaeya was fascinated by the long-haired blond in front of him and wanted to learn more. Albedo begrudgingly agrees to let Kaeya be his tour guide for the outside world, unaware of the complex, overwhelming, and dangerous adventure that would ensue.
Aka: Disney’s “Tangled” if Rapunzel was a homunculus and Flynn was the one with ties to the royal family.

“Curious… You bear a mark of Khaenri’ah and yet you say you’re only curious. How should I believe you.”
“I mean you no harm. If you want you never have to talk to me again. To be perfectly honest, I was hoping to speak to you about anything you want just to satisfy my curiosity.”
Underneath the anxiety swelling in his chest, Kaeya can’t deny this other boy has struck his curiosity as well. A strange boy that no one knows anything about coming to live with Mondstadt’s resident witch. And now Kaeya knows he’s somehow connected to Khaenri’ah just like him.
Kaeya sighs, “What’s your name?”
The boy stretches his hand out towards Kaeya. “Albedo. My name is Albedo.”
Or: Albedo is left in Mondstadt as a child. Him and Kaeya grow together over the years

“Let me guess. Somebody triple dog dared you that you can’t be a good father. Or older brother. And you’re taking this,” Jean takes a good look at his Parenting for Dummies book, casts another one of her looks, before continuing with her eyes squinted. “Rather seriously.”
“Forget it, seriously,” Diluc sighs, long and heavy. “He’s just infatuated with somebody who he doesn’t even know.”
“That’s what infatuation is, to be fair,” Jean shrugs, mumbling another thank you. She’s halfway raising her cup to her lips when her posture straightens. “Wait, excuse me?”
“You’re excused!” Kaeya hastily shuts his book to hopefully start another topic of conversation. Unfortunately, Diluc only adjusts his ponytail as he bulldozes on. “You heard me. He doesn’t even know their name.”
Please, Celestia, favor me over Diluc this once and strike him down. Or send a flood our way this instant.
Or: Kaeya becomes both Celestia's most favored child and underpaid jester after sending one of their angels his way. Except said angel has a daughter, and, oh Barbatos, he's not exactly ready to adopt a kid. Yet.

Summary
Couples already begin to shuffle into the square, standing in front of each other with their hands clasped together. Each pair begins to twirl, with smiles and laughter and singing. The sight used to fill Kaeya with bitterness. How embarrassing to do that in front of everyone. How shameful! Sure, he’d participated in plenty of drunken dances with lovely ladies and gentlemen, but it was never anything special or genuine. No eye contact, just practiced movements to get whatever he wanted, whether that was more drink, information, or a distraction in the form of physical touch.
Everything was very different now, though. Very different.

Albedo is a synthetic human being whose existence betrays the very laws set by the governing force of Celestia. 50 years ago, the Khaenri'ahn people converged and attempted a coup against Celestia's rule, but were brutally stamped down and exterminated. Khemia, the forbidden bioengineering technique created by the fallen Khaenri'ahn people, is the formula that brought Albedo to life and the curse that banishes him to a life of hiding. However, Albedo's secluded life in Moon City is disrupted one day by the rambunctious and rogue adopted son of the city's wealthiest CEO.
Kaeya juggles being a charming son, brother, and heir to Before Dawn Breweries Co. on top of the Abyss Syndicate's leading spy. Torn between turning his back on his found family and endangering them via the Syndicate's backlash, his growing anxiety haunts him with each passing day. Contrastingly unaware, Moon City falls continuously deeper into the Syndicate's grasp.
Despite their clashing external personalities, it takes a few misunderstandings and a few life-or-death situations for the two to realize that they are more interconnected than they initially believed. And perhaps this connection is one that extends beyond their Khaenri'ahn roots.
