Roman had been to approximately five dominants Gerri knows by name, three of which she is in close contact with, and had worked in the same dungeon with before she took a less public route with her career. He has booked with each of them respectively, made it just as far as a first meeting, initial negotiations, even a deposit, and then he vanished before the first scene, a ghost in the wind.
“He’s a runner,” Karolina tells her as they talk over lunch, filling in the blanks as if Gerri isn’t already aware, it’s one of the reasons she likes having Karolina help with booking, often she’ll allow the older woman to bounce ideas off of her, will state the obvious so Gerri can rebuttal, she’ll fight for him until Gerri makes a solid decision.
Gerri makes a show of stabbing her salad before she offers any sort of reply, “I’m not interested in chasing.”
