Summary
"You don't understand what you're asking. My world doesn't work the way yours does." Nevertheless, Mal tells her mother no...and suffers the consequences, alongside the captured royalty of Auradon, as the villains rampage and her trusted best friends remain unfettered, feigning loyalty to their parents.
Divided, the Isle-born rotten quartet must rely on old allies to survive, as well as their tenuous relationships with their Auradon-born peers. They don't have much time to uncover their strengths and make their choices, but...
("Our parents made their choice. Now you make yours.")
They have nothing to lose.
::
AU canon divergence from the first film—because segregating evil villains from the rest of society does not logically look like a half-humorous cohort of “has-beens”.

Summary
Naruto was known throughout his village for a couple things. Besides the hatred and disgust that seemed to follow him everywhere, Naruto was known for his pranks and his volume. This resulted in him getting yelled at. A lot. It wasn’t as if they helped him either, whenever he asked someone to repeat themselves they just got angry and yelled at him. Then the same Adults who would yell at him for being too loud would look at kids who were older than him and even louder and they only ever shook their heads fondly saying something like “Kids…” in a nostalgic tone.
It wasn’t entirely his fault he was loud, though. It was just that everyone else was so quiet. Besides, how was he supposed to hear himself if he was as quiet as the rest of them? How was he supposed to hear them if they never spoke louder?

Summary
At no point in the accidental usurpation of Thorin as leader of The Company and the quest for Erebor, did Bilbo intend for this to turn into an exploration of cultural differences (and something that almost feels like group therapy). For some reason, the Dwarrows aren't complaining, and Bilbo isn't going to question it, as long as the lumoxes behave themselves and do as they're told.
Who knows, they all might yet survive this insane journey.
(Or, where Bilbo decides the Dwarves are all too stupid for him to endure this ridiculousness anymore and Does It Hobbit and the Dwarves suddenly get affectionate.)
*Please note, within this story there are mentions of the underage rape and subsequent pregnancy of an off-screen character. Mentions are brief in chapter 2, and a little more in depth chapter 4. While details are light and are more discussions of emotional aftermath, this may still be distressing to read for those with triggers. Please be cautious.

Summary
The movement of one tiny piece gives Robb Stark the chance to play the Game of Thrones properly, marry his Frey girl, and take back the North. His path takes him straight through the Neck and past Howland Reed, whose secret may be the key to winning the game.
Or, alternatively, Ned Stark can’t restrain himself from banging his wife while she’s in King’s Landing and inadvertently saves his son (though not himself) from his own stupidity.

“You are the Nine Tailed Fox. Nobody told you, but they all hate you. They will never accept you!”The Hokage and Iruka-sensei were concerned about the Scroll of Seals, and in between the commotion and injuries, they somehow forgot to explain to Naruto that NO, he isn't the Kyuubi. Bilbo Baggins hated Lobelia Bracegirdle long before he'd ever met her. And in turn, Lobelia Bracegirdle, being the ambitious and overachieving sort that she was, absolutely, totally, wouldn't-have-spit-on-him-if-he-were-on-fire despised Bilbo Baggins long before she'd ever met him too.
Against all odds and their feuding families, they get married.
But it's not that kind of love story.

Summary
Every time Edward sees the circle on the back Mustang's hand, he wants to scream, wants to reach across the desk and shake him, wants to wrap his hands around the older man's throat and ask if it was worth it, if this desk and his rank is worth the screaming, crying, writhing, burning bodies of his people -
"Something to say, Fullmetal?" Mustang drawls.
Edward snaps the file shut, "Nope."
