And he deals with it, even manages to get to homeroom on time, but of course a civilian's Quirk affected him and now the person that has hurt him most is stood in front of him and he can do nothing but blurt out his buried feelings.
Aizawa knows that Midoriya is a Problem Child, and it's honestly somewhere between endearing, concerning and frustrating. And for all the tension that there could be in this class at times, he wasn't expecting truths like these to come to light, but he doesn't even surprise himself when he goes into Dad Mode over them. Midoriya deserves a little more love after all.
