Summary
Peter Parker fishes out a five. “Thank you.”
MJ stows it, feeling like an interaction like this can’t just end here. But here they are.
“No problem.”
“I’ll, uh, see you around,” he tells her with a little tilt of his head as he turns away. And before he goes, he fishes something out of his back pocket and shoves it in the tip jar without looking at her. He speed-walks out.
MJ stares at his retreating back. Then she stares at the tip jar, no longer empty. She fishes out the bills: a ten and two fives. A ten? And–
Peter Parker just tipped her twenty dollars.---
Michelle Jones, begrudging waitress at Peter Pan Donuts, comes across a customer who feels strangely familiar and decides to do what she does best - solve the case.

Summary
Seven Years Ago when Tony Stark went missing in Afghanistan, his almost eight year old son, Peter James Edwin Stark, was placed in foster care. When Tony returned, it was to the news that his son had been killed when a fire had broken out in the foster home and only the neglectful caretakers survived the blaze.
Now, one year after Ultron and Sokovia, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts have decided to act as foster parents in an attempt to keep what happened to Peter from happening to anyone else. Of course, the spider-themed vigilante in town may make this venture that much harder. Can’t Tony just get a break?
Peter Parker has no memory of his life before he was 7. He’s spent the last seven years in foster care wishing nothing more than to find a forever family. He thought the Parkers were going to be that family, but an unfortunate accident two years ago left Peter and their three children once again at the mercy of the system.
When Peter fights back against his foster father, Skip Westcott, he and his foster siblings end up at Avengers Tower, Peter has to figure out how to hide his nightly activities and Tony needs to figure out just why this teenager and his dead son have so much in common.

Summary
Clint feels a chill run through him. Sixteen. A high school student, not even in college. Probably the same age as Cap was when he enlisted.
His eyes feel wide as plates, his hands just slightly borderline clammy, and he squints even more at the photos popping on the screen. The room has gone dead silent, and he watches as photos of Spider-Man holding back trains and saving people from street fights and pulling cats out of trees is shown. Spider-Man.
Ah. Ah. Clint audibly lets out an oh.
Peter's identity is revealed—and people he'd never expect come to his aid.

Summary
Peter hasn't seen Mr. Stark, or been able to go out as Spider-man since he turned down his invitation to join the Avengers a few weeks ago. He ends up at Stark Tower rather randomly, finding an unlikely hero in Mr. Stark's AI, then keeps returning for different purposes.
The first chapter is a short I did for Comfortember 2022 that I've just kept thinking about. I'm building on that story and creating a 5 1 to explore the new dynamic (post-Homecoming) in another way.

Summary
Tony isn't a healthy man. He's fine with that, really. It makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, he has a job to do that kind of has his health as a major requirement. So he unmakes himself, remakes the Accords, protects every single child super that enters his field of view, and hopes ferociously that the Avengers never come back to the US. He doesn't spend any time at all rebuilding Bucky Barnes' life. Not a single second. Anything he does that contributes to him is simply an accident.
Bucky is a patient man. It's ok if Tony wants to ignore him for now. He won't be able to forever.
(Somewhere in the world, a sense of dread crawls up the back of Tony's spine)
