“Hey,” Zhehan says, loud, walking towards the human shield with a determined gait.
Gong Jun whips his head around and he—doesn’t say anything.
Not for a good long while, anyway. He stares at Zhehan like he’s surprised to see him, like this is a big misunderstanding, though Xiaoyu’s words ring fresh through Zhehan’s mind. When he finally opens his mouth he just says: “Hi.”
Former F1 driver Zhang Zhehan has retired from the world of racing after a serious injury. He's made his peace with the situation. He's moved on.
Enter Gong Jun, his old rival, asking Zhehan to come back and be his race engineer.

After an endless and tiring day on set, Gong Jun goes back to his trailer, hoping for peace, a long shower, and a good night's sleep. Zhehan's day has ended earlier. He was a real gremlin all day. Gong Jun likes him a lot, but he really needs peace and silence now.
