The war did not stop when Rhaegar Targaryen slew Robert Baratheon at the Trident.
Stannis narrowly escaped across the Narrow Sea, vowing vengeance for Robert’s death. Now tales of a fearsome pirate king of the Stepstone Islands by name of Stannis the Storm Lord spread like wildfire, a name decried as a common pirate exile by some and a hero by others.
Meanwhile the North and Vale refuse to submit, now vying for complete independence from the tyranny of the Iron Throne.
Whether it be at land or at sea, House Targaryen will bleed.
