The Ones That Don't Fade
A collection of my all-time favorite fanfictions.
These are the ones that I have remembered, despite the years and many fanfictions that I have read.
When all the rest seem to meld and smear together, these are the ones that stand out.
These are the ones that don't fade from my memory.

Summary
Rosabella Baggins of Bag End dies at the venerable age of one hundred and thirty one as she voyages from the shores of Middle Earth toward the last, great adventure. It must be said that the years that had been slow to creep on her thanks to the magic of the Ring of Sauron — which lingered still at least until the infernal device was finally destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom from whence it came — have finally reached her.
Rosabella Baggins dies during the voyage to Aman, in death she voyages back in time, at the time in which she had first met her One and lost him. But the life of Rosabella Baggins has been blessed, not only by her One but also by the son of her heart and suddenly that which had been a new chance turns into a heartbreaking nightmare. How can she continues as if nothing happens when she has seen the sorrow in her Frodo's eyes?
A choice must be made, after all, the happiness of a child over that of a mother is not a difficult choice to take.

Summary
“What the hell are you doing?” Quackity practically shouts in Tommy’s face, unmoved by the raw desperation in the boy’s expression.
“Please,” Tommy begs, even as Quackity continues to fight him. “Please, just- please, Quackity.”
“He destroyed everything,” Quackity roars.
Tommy feels like he’s going to shake apart, terror clawing up his throat. “He’s my brother,” Tommy pleads, almost too quiet to hear.
Quackity pulls harder, but Tommy hangs on. “He’s a monster,” he spits.
“He’s my brother,” Tommy says again. It is unmovable and he sees the moment Quackity realizes that.

Summary
The day their father turned his gaze away from Wilbur, the day Tommy got sick and tired of cleaning the blood off his big brother’s face, the day Tommy dodged Wilbur’s attempt to keep him behind him and took the place of human shield, the day their father hit Tommy when it was supposed to always, always be Wilbur, was the day Wilbur snapped.
He’d cleaned Tommy up, cleaned the blood off his baby brother’s face, and then he’d sung quiet lullabies until Tommy had finally fallen asleep.
And then Wilbur, all of fourteen years old, had made sure their father could never ever hurt Tommy again.

Edward’s child was a strange one. He had horns and a tail which Edward did not, but that does not mean he was any less worthy of love.
