Summary
When people gather, whether around a hearth as supper cooks, at a campfire after a long night's travel, or over drinks at a tavern, they tend to talk, and some of the talk is tales.
Herein enclosed are a few of the stories passed down by the Keepers of the Moon, - from mother to child, from wizened elder to untested yearling - carrying their wisdom and their legends down the generations.

Summary
Burdened with immortality and twisted into a beastly shape by Nidhogg's final curse after using gifts stolen from Ratatoskr to slay their kind, Estinien has hid beneath the aetherial tempest surrounding Ishgard for ages. Using the ravaging abyss to deafen himself to the world of man above that he helped to shape, nothing has roused him for centuries. That is, until he is stirred by the impossible: the voice of his long-dead lord. Spurred into flight for the first time in nearly a millennia, Estinien finds himself interrupting the banishment and judgment of accused heretic Aymeric de Borel, a man identical to his love from another lifetime but now spared the same fate.
But what purpose could this second chance serve? Estinien has long abandoned hope of being freed from his curse, unable to die at mortal hands and bound by the magic of dragons long gone from this world. Yet while he understands this Aymeric is not the same prince he knew, served, and loved, he is unable to refuse when the earnest young man makes a request that echoes his past and winds up learning just what has become of the kingdom of man.
